Description
This Woodturning 1 Day beginners course is designed to introduce you to the basics of woodturning with emphasis on tool work, small projects and safety with the lathe.
Students will be allocated their own lathe and tools for the duration of the course. You will also produce a number of projects which you get to bring home with you for future reference.
This is a very practical course with hands on tuition with Robert O Connor.
The day starts at 10am with a demonstration by Robert of the different woodturning cuts and from here the different projects progress. We stop for a well earned tea and scone break at some stage during the morning.
Certificate of attendance is also supplied.
We also have safe, free parking at side of premises.

Here at the The Woodturning Studio we give a warm welcome to all visitors to our shop when visiting Gorey, we would be delighted to show you around our workshop and explain the process. All our gifts are presented in a box with actual wood shavings as base.
