Unique Stone Wall Collection

Here is a unique Stone Wall  Piece made from Irish Ash that originated from a farm at Huntingtown, Gorey. Each bowl from the Stone Wall Collection is unique with a different design of wall in mind.

This bowl would be ideal as a gift or presentation piece.

The making of a Stone Wall design

The process starts by a bowl blank been cut from a log of ash and then roughed out by Robert on the lathe. Following from that it is let dry until it is at the desired moisture level. As a result bowl is ready to be remounted on the lathe and the different style cut into the bowl. Then it is ready to be scorched, ebonised and coloured. The inside is finished with the natural ash showing.

All our bowls are made in our studio which is located in Gorey, Co Wexford which is part of Irelands Ancient East by renowned multi award winning woodturner Robert O’Connor. Delivery
